Over the weekend, one user of WordPress for Joomla! submitted 4 new plugins to us. We had one of them already, but she added some extra documentation by the looks of it. These plugins are available for WordPress single blog and WordPress MU:
- Flickr Gallery
- Share This (not new, but updated)
- SmartLinks
- TweetMeme
Enjoy!

I am definitely a she!
I have made the change. Thank you for the great work as well!!!
Awww shucks, stop that! My head is big enough already… didn’t do much and very glad to be of use to other users of your great hybrid.
sugoddess, any chance you could work your magic with the AddThis plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/addthis/)? If not, can you point me somewhere to learn what needs to be altered to get WP plugins to work with WP for Joomla?
What a great contribution to the corePHP WP for Joomla community. Thank you very much!
ShareThis…perfect timing! Where do I find this?
You can find it under the WordPress plugins folder on the WordPress downloads area.
Suggestion: Marketing experts say it is optimal to have the ShareThis button directly under the title of the article, rather than the end. Idea being that most people don’t read the entire article, instead scanning to see if it is worth sharing. It would be great to have options for positioning it in the blog article.
Any chance of getting your commitment for converting this plugin? (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dsidxpress/)
This is a huge deal in the us based residential real estate industry for dynamically embedding mls listings into wordpress blog posts. Please confirm (or not) with a realistic timeframe on it’s conversion for your wordpress for joomla solution.
Thanks in advance.
I will put it in our list of plugins to migrate
.
Thanks Rafael. What would be an estimated timeframe till it’s ready?
It is hard to give you a time estimate, as there are already many other plugins on the list to migrate. If you follow our blog we post any new releases here.
I am a fan of the PageNavi, mostly for the search engines getting around the site and indexing all the content … and yes it is also helpful to the visitor
