While working on a project for a client that wanted to have a flash object on his site that was originally designed for a different site. The problem that occured was, when resized it looked totally distorted. I hunted for solutions and finally came across a nice little way of making the distortion disappear.

While working on a site I started using a javascript function called Thickbox to create attractive popup boxes. Along with the attractive popup boxes - Flash was used throughout the the site. One thing Flash is well known for is being on top of everything, litterly. With any ajax or DHTML popup Flash would appear directly ontop of it. So, the quickest and simplest solution for things is to give Flash a transparent background!
