Hello,

I've just installed CorePHP's WordPress MU component on a Joomla! installation that I have. There are a few plugins that I would be interested in using for WordPress, but this Joomla! installation is modified (as mentioned on this site), so I've had problems activating them. The ones I'm interested in are user management related (concerning restricting user access to pages, categories and posts in the blog). I've tried user-permissions, private-categories, and user-access-manager so far. I was able to install only the first one, but the features it provides aren't flexible enough for my needs. Does anyone else have experience in installing these plugins? I would like to get them working if possible.

Thanks!

The plugins I've been looking at were:

  • user-permissions
  • private-categories
  • user-access-manager

I understand these may need to be altered in some way to get them to work with WordPress MU. Hopefully modifications won't be too involved :).

Thanks!
