I've been reviewing your site and took a look at the demo site which doesn't seem to be doing what I've asked so I'm sure I just need to see the documentation.  However, one thing I've noticed on the forums is that you cannot set up publishing and editing access to an author based on roles/functions.

My biggest concern, knowing the people who need to do editing and publishing of existing documents, is that if they see an icon, they will assume it can be edited even though it will bomb when they try to do it on a restricted area.  Is there a way to do it so the edit icon only shows on the articles that they can change?

Thanks in advance.
