New Wordpress Component does not install with Joomla installer on J1.5.8

I have subscribed today and intended to install the wordpress component for J1.5 on my Joomla! 1.5.8. setup, but neither the usual upload and install nor installing from directory would work.

I got the following error messages:

Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

JInstaller::install: File '/home/pokerdel/public_html/tmp/com_wordpress_2.6.5.2/wp-includes/images/crystal/archive.png' does not exist.

Any idea how to resolve this ?

I appologize for the problem you are experiencing. We are currently working on a new release of The wordpress component that has some bug fixed.
If you could please be patient enough, we are almost done with it, and should be released within the next few hours.
