Hi,
I installed Community ACL and after a lot of experimenting i did succeed in granting access (add, edit, publish) for a user to a section and underlying catagories.
What I can't get working is granting access (add, edit, publish) for one or two catagories in a section and not to other catagories in that section.
My setup:
- Joomla 1.5.20, CALC 1.3.2
- Deny by default
- A group public (which has access to everthing in the front end except the maintenance menu
- A group X which also has access to the maintenance menu
- A role 'dummy' with nothing specified in it (specification is done on group and function level)
- A function "Publish Function Teams ABCD" which has add, edit publish rights to section teams ABCD
- A function "Publish Function Team A1" which has add, edit, publish rights to catagory A1 (in section teams ABCD)
The Publish function Teams ABCD works
The Publish function Team A1 doesn't work as expected. It works the same as the Publish function Teams ABCD. Even though the function is coupled to another user.
Coupling for the team A1 publisher is done by: group X, role 'dummy', function 'Publish Function Team A1'
Please, can you tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've got the feeling I'm almost there but this last part is essential for our website.
