I just tried posting from Safari and all I get when clicking the post button is:

The following error or errors occurred while posting this message:
Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message.

Any ideas?

Thx.

I tried creating a new thread in this forum and could it posted fine (shortly before I removed it) and I'm posting this one in Safari.  Is there anything else unique about your configuration?  Have you been able to reproduce it multiple times?

Weird. If I preview, it seems to work but, clicking the Post button without preview gives me the error.  I even used the inspector to kill the session completely but, same error.

webjive, do you still have the problem? It sounds to me like a cookie problem. Are your security settings too high? Are you logged out after you hit "post"? Have you tried posting on other forums or is it only this one.

I would just like to add an additional information about this case. I have encountered the same, but in Firefox and not Safari. I don't know if there is a difference, but I guess you'll encounter server timed out whenever few tabs are opened and all are from pages of this forum site. When you tried to posts on one thread to another, you will surely encounter this problem. I hope it helps.

Hi,

When replying to a message in gmail, I usually click the empty rectangular box right below the "reply" button.
However, since installing safari5, the cursor is not in the email ready to type after you click the empty space.  I have to click into the email so i can start writing text.

Seems like an annoying little bug.

thanks

I would just like to add an details about this situation. I have experienced the same, but in Chrome and not Opera. I don't know if there is a change, but I think you'll experience hosting server timed out whenever few an eye are started out and all are from websites of this message board website.
