'corePHP' - Unlock your Full Potential!
SSL and Community ACL
Hello,
I'm using Joomla 1.5.24, an extension called Fabrik 2.1.1 (forms, tables) and Community ACL latest version. I've been trying to set up SSL, after buying a SSL certificate, configured by my webhost (shared hosting), but I didn't succeed to enable SSL. I red this article:
http://kb.siteground.com/article/How_to_redirect_my_website_to_be_opened_through_HTTPS.html
and also found extension
http://www.yireo.com/software/joomla-extensions/ssl-redirect
but that didn't solve my problem. Are there any specific Community ACL SSL-issues? Do I have to change anything? Best way to enable SSL?
Just let me know.
Kind regards, Ernst

Re: SSL and Community ACL
Ernst,
There shouldn't be any conflicts caused by CACL. In a testing environment you could try removing CACL to see if that remedies the problem. This can be done by either:
Removing the component from the extension manager. This does not remove database tables.
-OR-
Disabling the Community ACL system plugins. Once these are disabling, CACL is no longer running.
Kindest regards,

Re: SSL and Community ACL
Are you using Community ACL to manage permissions between two Joomla websites using Community ACL?

No Andy, I'm not using multiple websites. So I can delete this link?
Kind regards, Ernst

Re: SSL and Community ACL
Correct. You should only be using the site synchronization if you have multiple websites. Please disable synchronization as it can cause unexpected issues if it is enabled and not needed.
