Hi,

I have an issue after successful CACL installation on Joomla 1.5.23, that is in (both front and back-end) an user management view when Save/Apply or Cancel is clicked the site redirects to Google search page ?!?

Has anyone here experienced such thing? I have not a clue what could possibly cause this :(

The FireBug shows this error:
document.adminForm is undefined
submitform(pressbutton=form#[object HTMLInputElement].form-validate /your-details.html)joomla...ript.js (line 323)
submitbutton(pressbutton=form#[object HTMLInputElement].form-validate /your-details.html)joomla...ript.js (line 315)
onclick(event=click clientX=386, clientY=546)onclick (line 2)
[Break On This Error] document.adminForm.task.value=pressbutton;
joomla...ript.js (line 323)

Any ideas, please?

I just noticed that this happens for user accounts which were created before CACL addition.

Tom

I suspect the Google search is appearing because of a malformed URL that the "save" button is attempting to access. Can you determine what the URL is? What is the Google search query?

Hi Andy,

Well all seems to be fine apart from that. As I mentioned that this behaviour occurred after CACL installation, so it looks to me that CACL changed something. My only influence to the Joomla was replacement of helper.php file as requested after installation.

There is no query, the main search page opens and this happens for users added before CACL.

I still suspect there is a malformed URL that your browser is attempting to access and since it can't access it, it is defaulting to your default search page, Google. I recommend investigating what that is (preferably in the source of the problematic page).

If you purchased Community ACL prior to it becoming free and still have an active license for support, you can create a ticket using the link in my signature and someone can look into the issue for you.
