I've transferred a site using Wordpress MU to a new server, I transfered it using JoomlaPack. The transfer of the site went well, everything works. I've changed all the settings in wordpress mu to have the new domain name in it. But in frontend it's calling the old server somehow. There's a password on the old server, if you load the blog on the new server it'll ask for that password. And the blogs logo has the old address for the link.

I exported the MySQL database and there's a bunch of tables with the old servers address in it for wordpress. What do I have to do to complete this transfer?

Just a thought: have you tried uninstalling the wpmu component and re-installing it?

AFAIK uninstallation leaves the DB content intact so this may *not* fix the issue, but might be worth a try?

Aww, I wish the OP had replied. I'm in suspense as to if it worked or not! I am currently having the same issue, mostly. For me, everything except individual posts works fine. I can see categories and such, but I can't get into posts. It just takes me back to the category. I've been going through the DB and changing the URLs wherever I could find them, but it doesn't seem to take. The blogs are still referred to with their old URLs on the users page where it shows with which blog each user is associated. Bummer...

Any ideas let me know...I'll keep digging...and check with support when the site owner digs up the login creds :)

If you have a current subscription, you could post a ticket and I can look through it.
