Call for beta testers!

As you can probably tell by our recent posts, we have released a few new products…and we also have other products coming as soon as we get our coffee machine fixed. :)

We need some happy and trustworthy mutants to help us test product updates and upcoming products. If you are interested in helping, email our CEO Steven Pignataro….I’m kidding! He will be mad if he gets all that mail. Just post a comment to this post and make sure that you enter a valid email address.

Just one thing – Please don’t volunteer unless you have the time to download and test Joomla! products on a regular basis.

As a compensation for testing our products, you will receive a hefty discount if you decide to purchase any of them.

Thank you!

I am in. We bought the your Joomla WPMU just as 3.0 came out and now I am installing and using WordPress 3.0 MU and would love to see how the Joomla version of it would work. I did run into some issues that were really specific for my needs with the Joomla WP. I would love to test because I need it for my sites and also provide some feedback that, IF it could be accomplished would make what you have the ultimate tool. Let me in, please.

Hi, I’ve tested a few products before (Community ACL, new versions of WordPress for Joomla!) so I would love the opportunity to test what you have cookin now!

Hi guys! I met Steven at the Joomla Developer’s Conference this past December and I’d definitely be interested in testing this new version out. I’m planning on putting together a news site (as part of a new Joomla 1.6 site) later on this year for the college and I think WordPress for Joomla would be a really good fit for that section of the site.

I am interested in beta testing your products, I am working on a comprehensive news site that is dedicated to one major industry in the country I work. Already I have selected Joomla and WP as the backbone of the site. Surely I am in..

I’m keen to test WordPress 3 for Joomla. It’s a “must-have” and my current WPMU version is plagued with problems. Hopefully, being able to focus on one version will also make your life easier.

I would love the opportunity to test the new version. I can commit to testing and documenting any and all issues or glitches that may arise. I also would be willing to test a multitude of plugins to ensure compatibility.

I would love to get ahead of the curve on this one! Besides I already know I am going to renew my subscription… you had me at discount :)

i’d love to test out the new WordPress 3.0! My company is working on a new site called Tech Futures and when the new WP 3.0 is released we hope to be able to utilize it.

Hello, I’m interested in testing any of your products. I’m particularly interested in the WordPress products as I do quite a bit of work for my clients using WordPress and Joomla. I use your components and plugins frequently and feel I’ll be a good fit for your beta testing program. Not to mention I have a QA background :)

I am in the process of (re)building my website, and would love to be a beta tester for Joomla 1.6 and WP 3.0 for Joomla.

I am hoping to capitalize on the flexibility and extensibility of Joomla and the ease-of-use with multiple blogs of WordPress 3.0.

I’ve already pre-ordered & paid for Wordoress for Joomla 3.0 – can I also beta test it to get started sooner? Thank you!

  14. Darren

As per Paul’s comment above I’ve also pre-ordered and would like to beta test. Could the option to download beta versions be made standard for everyone pre-ordering? If nothing else it should increase the available number of beta testers without the need for extra administration on your side.

I bought previus version, but would like to use WP3.0. I would check compatibility new version with my environment and JomSocial as beta tester with your support.

  17. Rafael Corral

@ashley and @angelo – At the moment WordPress 3.0 for Joomla is almost ready for release and has been fully tested. If you want, I can still add you to the list for any future beta releases.

  18. Penny

My soon-to-be-husband and I are merging our web design businesses. His Joomla and my WordPress. I would love to test products and maybe learn something before he does. =)

We are currently developing a community & web magazine for art. To connect those two main components, WordPress for Joomla 3.0 seems to be just perfect for us.

We would love to test in your Beta whether your component fits into our concept. If that is the case (and it really just sounds like this) we would love to preorder WP for Joomla as this really seems to be just perfect for our current plans!

Of course we will provide you with feedback as we will be in beta very soon, too, and will test a heavy usage with different Users, authors, permission, etc.

  20. Rafael Corral

I appreciate everyone wanting to beta test WordPress 3.0 for Joomla. The extension at this point is complete. We will be releasing within the next couple of days.

    Thank you for your support!
