Helpdesk operations can quickly become overwhelming, especially when support requests hit their peak. It can be difficult to know which problems to troubleshoot first, especially when multiple users flood your helpdesk claiming “urgency” or “high priority.” Tech support managers and specialists can navigate these tricky waters by implementing task prioritization systems, researching possible solutions, and deploying aid with personalized customer service approaches.
Tech support team members must be able to communicate prioritization of tasks to scale response times accordingly. A combination of tags and color markings can be the most effective way to mark priority. For example, immediate or overdue tasks could be marked red, so that upcoming shifts understand the urgency of a particular ticket. Other teams might find it easier to use certain tags or numbers to mark priority, labeling extremely important tasks with a level “1” and minor upkeep tasks with a level “5.”
When you’re providing support to company users, don’t just give them the first solution that comes to mind. Come prepared with several options, just in case the first suggestion doesn’t work. Take some time to delve into the tech issue and research potential outcomes of your troubleshooting actions. Research plays a crucial role in support ticket initiatives, because the solutions might have unanticipated consequences, such as data loss. Investigating outcomes before applying a solution can help you resolve a ticket on the initial attempt.
Customer Service Skills
Tech support specialists must have a certain amount of interpersonal savvy to conduct troubleshooting in a way that is empathetic to user needs. Support managers should cultivate strong customer service skills during training sessions, so that employees are equipped to assist users with various skill backgrounds. Customer service skills can also go a long way in diffusing tense situations, especially when users become frustrated with their technology.
Organizations can better assess future support strategies by partnering with business consultants that can analyze true tech needs. Many companies make the mistake of allocating funds toward unnecessary purchases, when workflows can be resolved with current technologies. Third parties can provide companies with a refreshing outside perspective and suggestions on how to streamline business processes.
Cut down on support wait times and reduce your ticket queues through better prioritization, solutions research, and customer service awareness. Active ticket queue management can prevent helpdesks from spiraling out of control. Addressing these steps can help your company leverage current and future technology more effectively.

Dear readers, we would like to ask you an odd question. Actually, it doesn’t need a reply, just some mind work. Have you ever missed the time of fairy, fantastic, incredible designs? We mean the designs where you could show all your skills, experience and fertile imagination. Of course the residues of this powerful magic empire still can be found in colorful games for different consoles.
With today’s tendency towards flat, clean, minimalist web, every day there remains less and less space for our miraculous world of gold-digging dwarfs, lovely elves, majestic unicorns, fearless knights, disgusting orcs, clumsy trolls, wicked witches, gorgeous princesses, wise kings, sanguine hobbits, dignified ents, balky centaurs, vicious werewolves and , of course, huge, frightful, fire-spitting dragons. Just agree that this magic world was so glorious that we wanted to stay there forever. Now every kidult would confess that he/she is willing to visit those fairy landscapes at least once again. Please, don’t worry those countries and forests inhibited by fabulous creatures won’t disappear from virtual reality as long as we remember them. Right now, you see the evidence of their existence below this text. Of course we mean the dragon belching out the flame from its fanged mouth. Isn’t it prodigious? Continue reading

I know that the definition of “success” is vastly different for different people. For some people, “Success is equivalent to Money” and for some people “Success is equivalent to Excellence” and some others it is something entirely else. Success is something which is “purely” subjective in nature. It depends from one person to another and personally, I feel it is never moral to measure success on the scale of “money earned”.
In blogging too, there are whole lot of people who feel that the more money they earn each month, more successful they are in blogging. But I think this is not something which is entirely true and can be blindly followed. In blogging, Money should never be equated with Success. You should love and be passionate about your work, then earning money should be easier that you had ever thought of.
The most important aspect of blogging is “writing”. But it is true that writing alone will never make you a successful blogger, as there are many other things that you need to master like Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Optimization (SMO), Email Marketing and much more. Whether you are an established company owner or a working professional, you can benefit from registering your own domain name. A domain name is a unique online identity that a business or individual can use to promote themselves and their products or services. For the fairly inexpensive price of registering a domain name, you can connect with internet users around the world.
Here are a few of the benefits of registering a domain name:
Have you ever had a friend snap a photo when you were not exactly on your best behavior? The rise of social media websites has made it increasingly easy for those photos to end up on the web. Once they do, this information is available to employers and customers forever.
Domain names allow you to control what people see when they search the internet for your name or the name of your company. The more domains you have, the more control you have. Take control of your online reputation by registering your own domain. Continue reading

When preparing to launch a website, there are many factors that must go into building a site. One of those decisions relies on the content management system (CMS) one decides to use. We at ‘corePHP’ center our business philosophy on the CMS, Joomla!. Why Joomla? Joomla! is easily one of the most customizable CMS’s on the market. With many dedicated developers volunteering to further its development, Joomla! offers endless possibilities in terms of the customization for a website. Joomla! is a fantastic way for any sales or marketing professional to capture and manage leads for your business. I have personally had the opportunity to work with two of the most popular CMS’s on the market, Joomla! and WordPress. I can honestly say that my experience with Joomla! is much more enjoyable with less stress and heartache attached.
When beginning to develop your website’s CMS, you must think of the possible additions of other software or plugins to grow the potential of your site. Joomla! is designed with the small to medium sized business owner in mind. Joomla! is one of the top CMS’ on the internet with over 30 million downloads as of March 2012.
One reason to use a CMS is to help increase your search engine ranking. In order to help create sales leads, the business needs to find ways to increase its ranking on search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo. The more prominent and searchable your business is, the more likely one is to visit your website, which in turn can become a sale. The higher you rank in a search engine equals more website traffic, leading to more sales of goods as a reputable source.
Aleks Radonjic of Oshyn.com wrote a great blog on 10 Reasons Why a CMS is Important to Your Business, and he also feels that search engine ranking is one of the five ways a CMS will help your business. Radonjic stated, “To improve or maintain your search engine ranking your business has to remain relevant, and a good and easy-to-use CMS will help your publishers keep the content fresh. This invites external contribution (e.g. comments, forum, likes etc…), an integral component in staying relevant and improving your search engine ranking.”
If you are interested in having Joomla! as your choice of CMS for your website, please contact our sales team at email@example.com.
