‘corePHP’ wins business development grant through ‘Pure Michigan’ Pilot Program

BATTLE CREEK – ‘corePHP’ is honored to have been selected this week to receive business development support through the Pure Michigan Business Connect Economic Gardening Pilot Program offered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

“The goal of this program is to help these second-stage companies grow and in turn, generate new private investment and create new jobs for Michigan,” says MEDC CEO Michael Finney.

Out of 108 nominees across the state of Michigan, ‘corePHP’ was one of 54 businesses selected by an independent review board to receive 4 types of support: strategy and management; market research/competitive intelligence; Internet and social media strategy; and geographical information systems to help identify potential customers in other states.

The companies were chosen based on the type and size of the markets they serve, their growth potential, and their likelihood of benefiting from the service.

“We are thrilled to have been selected to receive this generous assistance by the MEDC,” says ‘corePHP’ CEO & co-founder, Steven Pignataro. “This support will not only help us find new customers, but will help us better serve our existing customers as well.”
